Day 1: Welcome to Japan!

Your adventure begins here in Tokyo! Since flights are not included, you’re free to choose your departure airport, airline, and time that suits you best. Upon arrival, check into your hotel, and get ready to embark on an incredible journey through Japan.

Day 2: From Tokyo to Kamakura – Discover the Great Buddha
Exploring Imperial Cities
The journey officially kicks off with an early start, heading to Kamakura, a former capital of Japan filled with historical treasures. One highlight is the awe-inspiring Great Buddha, a statue that survived a tsunami that destroyed the temple around it. We’ll even explore inside this incredible monument!
Back to Tokyo
In the evening, we return to Tokyo to unwind in Ueno Park, one of the city's most serene spots, surrounded by beautiful temples. We’ll also explore the vibrant Ameyoko Market, where you can experience Japanese street food and unique local finds.

Day 3: Kyoto Bound – Markets and Geishas
Riding the Bullet Train to Kyoto
Another early morning sees us speeding off to Kyoto on Japan’s famous bullet trains. While relaxing on board, keep your eyes peeled for Mt. Fuji as we pass by!
Kyoto Exploration
Upon arriving in Kyoto, we’ll wander through the Kawaramachi district, known for its bustling shops and vibrant market stalls at Nishiki Market. Later, as the evening falls, we’ll venture into the historic Gion district, hoping to catch a glimpse of the elusive geishas.

Day 4: Kyoto’s Temples – The Golden Pavilion and Zen Gardens
Kyoto offers a captivating blend of ancient temples and peaceful retreats. We’ll visit the iconic Fushimi Inari Shrine, known for its endless red torii gates, followed by the famous Kiyomizu-dera, perched high above the city.

In the afternoon, we’ll head to the breathtaking Kinkaku-ji, or Golden Pavilion, which shimmers beautifully under the sun. To round off the day, we’ll experience Zen tranquility at Ryoanji Temple, home to Japan's largest rock garden.

We will meet in Tokyo.
Suggested Arrival and Return Airport for your flights: Narita (NRT) or Tokyo-Haneda (HND)
Whatsapp's group for coordination will be created 1 week before the meeting day.
Day 1 Arrival:
Groups typically meet in the late afternoon on the first day at your accommodation, around 6:00/6:30 PM (local time). If you arrive later, you can arrange to meet the coordinator directly. We recommend arriving in the early afternoon for a smoother experience.
Meet the Group:
You'll meet your coordinator and fellow travelers at the accommodation (unless otherwise specified). Transportation from the airport to the accommodation is not included.
Final Day:
You are free to leave at any time on the last day unless the itinerary states otherwise.
Common Fund
The common fund is managed by the coordinator and used for group expenses throughout the trip.
It speeds up payments for shared activities and allows flexibility in choosing excursions.
The amount is collected on the first day in local currency and varies by destination.
It covers only group expenses that everyone agrees to, including the coordinator's share (except where free). If not fully used, the remaining amount is refunded at the end.

Option Single Room
At Vojaze, our focus is on group travel. This means you'll share not just experiences but also rooms with your fellow travelers. Most accommodations offer double, triple, or quad rooms to share.
If you'd rather have some privacy, you can add the Private Room Option during checkout (if available) and enjoy your personal space to relax and recharge.
Even with the Private Room Option, some unique stays, like a night in a jungle lodge or mountain refuge, are shared with the group. It's all part of the adventure!
Travel Style and Group Age
This trip offers a full, all-encompassing experience of the destination. It's one of our top itineraries designed to showcase every aspect of the location. While the pace will be energetic to cover as much as possible, there will still be time to unwind and have fun—perfectly balanced! We’ll be staying in different accommodations almost every night, so whether you prefer a backpack or suitcase is up to you.
This itinerary requires an intermediate level of physical fitness and features a fast-paced schedule. Expect medium-to-long transfers and excursions that involve a fair amount of physical activity. We’ll be changing accommodations frequently, so adaptability is key.
